CELEBRATING 7 YEARS OF TRANSFORMING LIVES!
In 2014 I set foot in a space in the Bajo de los Anonos community called Lifting Hands. That day I understood everything! Lifting Hands was not that place, it was all the children, adolescents, adults and volunteers who walked through that door every day. Since then I repeat the same phrase: Lifting Hands is the result of hearts feeling, minds thinking and hands doing...hands lifting lives!
This year we celebrate seven years of work in this community, of radically improving the quality of the program, and of working in an increasingly individualized way and with better results. Every year our family grows and new needs arise, but with great pride I can say that thanks to each of the people who have become part of our family, today Lifting Hands is what we dreamed of seven years ago and precisely what we want. replicate soon in another community.Who is joining us to achieve this dream with us?
We have seen our teenagers and moms become active volunteers of the foundation, students entering university, boys and girls getting through the school year, moms empowered, donors involved and volunteers going the extra mile to make all of this a reality.

Lifting Hands is a foundation made up of more than 2,000 people who dream that we all have a good quality of life. We fight for a world where people believe in equal opportunities, without distinction of gender, nationality or beliefs. We change the lives of men and women and at the same time, we raise awareness among our family of volunteers and donors. We are driven by passion, courage, and the desire to transform lives and communities.
Lifting Hands Foundation is a non-profit organization that seeks to improve the quality of life of people who live in communities at social risk, through volunteering and the support of companies and individuals.
In line with our comprehensive approach, we teach weekly lessons on different topics, as well as workshops and extra-curricular support, seeking a program that is sustainable over time and has a long-term impact.

Through our volunteer team we teach weekly lessons on different topics, as well as sporadic workshops and extra-curricular support, seeking a program that is sustainable over time and has long-term impact. We manage to work thanks to more than 200 national volunteers who donate at least one hour per week in person per quarter, in addition to people who administratively support the foundation, corporate volunteers and foreign volunteers who visit us for periods of two months To one year.

Godfathers and godmothers
As part of our efforts to continue making the dreams of so many children and parents who long for a better future come true, we created the Child Sponsorship Program. Initially we proposed the program in order to generate a monthly cash flow that allows us to better plan the future of Lifting Hands, but when we had the first sponsor, we noticed the excitement and admiration that it generates in the heart of each boy and girl, for so we take on the challenge of everyone having one.
The Lifting Hands Market
One of the foundation's sources of financing is a store that receives donations from outside people and with it, we employ a leader from Bajo de los Anonos, July. In addition, Pastelería Giacomin donates cakes to us weekly that we raffle among those who buy at La Tiendita.
Gifts with purpose
Purposeful gifts are based on products or services that donate all or a percentage to the foundation's funding.
Our investment
At Lifting Hands we seek to use our resources in the best way, which is why 76% of our expenses are donated in kind: materials and volunteers, and only 6.1% of our income is invested in administrative expenses. The annual savings are the result of the hours donated by our volunteer corps and the in-kind donations received during the year.
